You city fellers are startin' ta git on ma nerves! Out here in the
cornfields I git "24k on a good day", cause of the city slicker housing
development up the road diggin' the line up so much when it rains hard I
get so slow I can barely connect, and when it rains REALLY hard I can't
even make a phone call at times.

Of course I'm a mile and a quarter from a wireless tower, they were here 3
times in 2 days. They'd get a good signal....and lose it, over and over.
You can see the tower lights at night plainly, but their equipment is down
the tower a way, just far enough for a hilltop to be in the way. Glenwood
has MediaCom, but cable stops a mile away and they say they have no
immidiate plans to extend it this way. Qwest said a week ago they had DSL
here now, but I'm not listed as being able to get it. They'd have someone
here to condition test the line in a week to 10 days.

Anxiously counting,
Cale Lewis
