[olug] Cox SMTP Relay / Alternitives

I have been using smtp.cox.com for mail relay for some internal stuff for
the past 10 or so years but recently emails seem to come out of order or
are delivered late. Anyone know of some alternitives or even a cheap paid
solution? I would be open to hosting it internally or on my linode for
example but do need to be able to relay stuff to my gmail account and am
concerned about them blocking it.

I am mainly using it for my dlink cameras and some other internal alerts
for things.
