I've kinda checked in on reprap / makerbot stuff over the years.  They
really didn't have a fine enough bead for anything I might have had a use
for.  Then again, anything I might want would be better injection molded.

3D printers are cool, sure ... but... can you actually think of any use for
any of the current gen printers ?

If anyone does their own hardware projects (ground up pcb design and such),
then a 3D printer might have more of a use.

I can't think of a single practical application for one ... at least, not
for me.  Maybe if I designed some kind of add on piece of equipment for my
hand loading bullet press, but that'd be about it.
