[olug] Ubuntu 8.10 RC X.Org Resolution problems

Really?  I know I had the proprietary nvidia drivers working on my older 
Athlon XP.  I don't recall the model or clock, but I'll fire it up 
tomorrow  and post model and driver version.

(I used this machine to run some 3D physics analysis code.)
