cpuburn is a test that runs data throught the CPU at an interval you specify
to stress the CPU, it's an old test that I use frequently on unknown
hardware.....
Typically
boot from gentoo CD
memtest
boot fully from gentoo CD, then nfs a directory from a server with
CPUburn... and run for a half hour....
then install Gentoo....

[root at vr linux]# ./cpuburn-in
