[olug] Abiword footnotes/Latex plug

I must disagree with you here, Miktex sucks big time.  Use the win32
version of web2c tex instead.  The biggest reason for me is that miktex
doesn't have an up to date version of pdftex and it requires you to have
a bunch of registry settings.

Web2c on the other hand just looks for the tex support files relative to
the exe file, so all you need to change is the path and it's installed. 

It is on CTAN, here is one mirror: (there are others)

And actually, UltraEdit is a great editor for windows, and it's neither
vi nor emacs.
