You have an overloaded gateway and want to share the work between two machines? When you say it isnt' a hardware issue do you mean that the network bandwidth can handle the load? I would think you would logically seperate the nework and use a second gateway for half of it. I know that when I worked with Telismart we had a round robin approach for serving up web pages from 3 aix boxes. I don't know if you could do something like that. Anyway good luck.
