[olug] CD and DVD Burning Probelms--K3B, Kubuntu 6.06 LTS and Linux Kernel 2.6.15-27-386

On the machine yes.  With this distro yes.  with this
drive NO  Tried burning at AUTO, 16x and 4X --Same
result -- Coasters.....Also can't upgrade the kernel.
