I got fed up with Slack 8.1 after installing about six times and I downloaded Gentoo. The CD created from the iso is not bootable, and there aren't even *cryptic* instructions on the disk describing how to make it go. I could have installed 52 FreeBSD boxes in the time I've been messing with one Linux install *grrrrrrrr*
