I would go with the single IP address - back when I ran Probe, the time
wasn't right, but nowadays I don't think anyone has much of an excuse for
running that old of a browser.  I would make the default page (the one
accessed when no Host: header is sent) be a page that tells people they're
running an old browser and need to upgrade (nicely) both for functionality
and security purposes, then place links to the subpages that make up the
main pages for the virtual hosts.  As long as all the links in the virtual
sites are relative and not absolute, things should work fine for them.
Might want a disclaimer that a given site may or may not work properly if
they continue with their current old browser.
