Jitsi was used for many many months but was difficult to get recording and
streaming working easily and it crashed regularly, also video quality was
usually low and made reading shared screens difficult.  I also tried
setting up my own VM with a dedicated install of Jitsi.  I even paid for a
8x8 account for several months to use the paid version and issues still
persisted.I decided to switch to zoom as I needed it for work and didn't
feel I needed to do fixes each time I went to broadcast.

Suggestion: if you'd like, you can stream your talk via YouTube and I can
use OBS to pull in the feed and rebroadcast it.
