Two other things to consider.
Cybrary.it - free training, you pay for the certs. Ron Woerner has a course on there and it is supposed to be pretty good.
Humble Bundle is also running a Linux Books by Wiley for the 12 days. They have ebooks available for LPIC and the RHEL 6 certification. Also some other Linux stuff like bash. Starts at $1 and for that you get four pretty good books.

We are not currently set up for the speciality certs, but we can probably
set something up. I'll have to look into it.
