[olug] [OT] Eclipse

Yep, I was in G.I., too, at the Walmart at Locust & Hwy 34.  Perfect location.  Skies were clear and the view was great.  We could see stars during totality.  Lots of clouds visible to the SW of us, though, so I'm glad we didn't stop driving any earlier.  We got parked just about 30 min before totality.
