If you are in a situation like I am where your significant other pays the
electricity bill and I pay the gas, water, and cable bill you could use it
to exploit the economic situation by turning electricity into heat.  :)
 
.....but even my pfSense boxes have been updated beyond that.  
I have two Dell PowerEdge 2650's with similar specs but with lesser HDDs I
used for years for pfSense that someone can have for free.  
They work well for that purpose.
