If the FreeNAS demo comes to be, I'd like to see someone SUCCESSFULLY clone
a bootable USB stick for a configured FreeNAS system.  When I attempted
using the correct method (build new stick from ISO, then restore the
configuration) it would never boot a valid config (couldn't find disks, or
if it did the ZRAID wasn't found, etc).

So I ditched it and did a minimal Debian install... :(
