[olug] Looking for a larger server, not necessiarly new.

I'm looking to build a home VMware server to brush up on my skills and
pursue my education and I'm looking for an 8+ core system with 32+GB RAM
(I'll supply HDD).  A NewEgg system with new components (AMD 8-core, 32GB
RAM, MB, 1KWatt powersupply) is around $600.

I'm going to check at GoodBytes, but are there other places I should keep
in mind for older used server-class systems?
