I tried Evernote for a little while, but I couldn't get past the fact
that its Android widget did not honor line breaks, so all of my lists
ran together like freeform text.  I uninstalled it a week later.  I've
been using ColorNote ever since.  It doesn't have nearly the feature
set of Evernote, but it stores things in plain files which I then backup
to my desktop using rsync.
