[olug] nginx and rewrite rules

I noted that even Wordpress.org has moved over to using nginx as their web
server. Many suggest it requires less RAM than Apache, and is faster. I'd
like to give it a spin, but I'm also using quite a few rewrite rules in
Apache (for caching, better looking URLs and security). Has anyone on the
list had experience with migrating sites from Apache to nginx?
