[olug] MythBox rebooting during playback

I'm assembling a Mythbox (Mythbuntu 11.10) from some spare parts for my 
daughter.  The machine seems to record fine, and has stayed up for over a 
week.  Last night I tried to playback a recording and the system rebooted.  I 
started running top and tailing logs. Looking at top the machine is bored 
during playback and I've found nothing useful in messages, kern.log, 
mythtvfrontend or mythtvbackend.log.   Reboots occur anywhere from 1 to 5 
minutes into the playback on multiple recordings.  

Suggestions on which log to watch?
