By the time you outfit that Synology with HDDs, I can almost buy 2 of
the BuffaloTech devices (again fully populated with HDDs).

Just seems pricy is all I'm saying.  Never purchased an off the shelf
NAS before but may end up doing so someday.  In the meantime, I'll
stick with FreeNAS.
