[olug] Windows 8

I was also very worried about the Metro UI, but since watching the Build Keynote Address, I'm less worried.  yes it sucks that for the home user, they are stuck with the Metro UI as the default (of course until some programmer makes a simple install program to change it) the traditional desktop that people are currently accustomed to will be available.

Businesses on the other hand will have the ability to have the Explorer Desktop be the default.  I also found it interesting to read in Paul Thurrott's review of Windows 8 that is is more of an update and a full out upgrade, much like Windows 7 was to Windows Vista, that is outside of the metro UI of course.

Anyone here loaded the pre-beta yet? Should I even be asking this on a linux group :P
