Not necessarily. No matter how one acquires the password, they probably
wouldn't leave any traces. Especially changing the password. They might even
come back for more or just to check out your files every now and again if
they had your password. All of that goes away if you change it regularly.
Every time you change it, is another time they have to steal it if they want
to maintain control.

That said,. this does less for someone who only wants into the system once.
But the fact that it doesn't cover one security risk, is no reason not to do
it just to cover another one.
