I'd most like to present anything that the audience is interested in, otherwise it's just me droning on about something I find interesting, but perhaps no one else does. :)
A new idea: I spent the weekend crunching bioinformatics / genetics data on Firefly, the University of Nebraska's 1,100 node computer cluster. Perhaps a presentation about that work, the nuts and bolts, and live demos (assuming the cluster is up and available) would be interesting to OLUG? We have another 25 node cluster I can play on too.
Disclaimer: I am NOT the admin of the larger cluster, don't have root, and only know how it works from the perspective of a fiddling power user. I know none of the backend implementation details.
