Windows has already been re-installed on one drive. Ubuntu 10.04 is on drive two.
I found the following using an Ubuntu 10.04 live Disk.
root at ubuntu:~# cd /media
root at ubuntu:/media# ls -a
8479d8a4-9992-4670-b5e8-ff4147085472 (176 GB external drive)
a9f0d640-d56b-4c79-877c-e1db0d55a302 (Linux drive)
6E5C85885C854BB1/ (Windows drive)
root at ubuntu:/media# cd 8479d8a4-9992-4670-b5e8-ff4147085472/
root at ubuntu:/media/8479d8a4-9992-4670-b5e8-ff4147085472# ls -a
Need to get permissions to write to this disk so I can copy files to it while in live CD mode

On linux, it's as simple as:
dd if=/dev/hda of=/home/joe/boot.mbr bs=512 count=1
But that's if you haven't reinstalled windows already.
