[olug] Local Open source projects?

Hi Don! How are things going?

How about some online class software like Blackboard? I see quite a few
requests at the various freelancing sites for custom Social Networking
platforms too - maybe there would be interest if someone created a Free
one that was excessively customizable? Or maybe a quick-and-easy 3G
network->phone->laptop tethering utility? (Is that legal?) Just some
ideas...enough to give none.
