[olug] Video Capturing

I have ADS DVD DX2 xpres capture card has anyone had experience with this
adapter its a usb bus adapter. This is the only thing that I that holding me
back to going 100% linux. I thought of installing ubuntu and then installing
virtual machine to install xp to make the card work. any thoughts on that or
maybe I can find a way to make capture card work.
