I don't know if individual requests will matter too much. However, I
think requests for specific organizations with creative proposals
might catch their eye.

I think the colocation project and OLUG should submit requests for
those projects.

If OLUG had a gigabit connection, could we get some hardware donations
from members and set up repository mirrors for major distros?
