Should work well enough.  It's 3 colors, I'd just cut each color at a
different depth with a rotary tool with a depth restricting tube or
different length bits....

My mom's neighbor is a krafty ol IBM geek lady.  I think she made a decent
one one year....  
IDK, I could have imagined it.  (insert witch cackle).
