They (I'm not there any more) use a windows-based app for IM within
the I.T. dept.  I don't remember which app, but I wasn't thrilled
with it.  Our boss seemed to think that logging of discussions was
required (or at least wise) for HIPPA regulations, which was a major
reason we went that route.  I was about the only person of ~60 in
I.T. that used Linux as my primary desktop and RDP'd into my headless
Windows box for a couple Windoze-only apps like I.M, so it made sense
for them to use a Windows solution.
