[olug] possible google wave project?

Anyone out there done much with google wave? A friend of mine is a high school football coach and is interested in creating some sort of a web portal for football coaches that has a video player, real time chat, storage and usage of working documents, ability to conference with players, etc. Is this the kind of thing that google wave was designed to facilitate? Honestly, I don't know that much about the details, and I'm wondering if anyone has played around with it enough to point me in the right direction. Thanks

Also, would anyone be interested in talking about google wave at an upcoming OLUG mtg if they've done some cool things with it?
