Session Manager - Usually about the first extension I install.
Previous incarnations as SessionSaver were more necessary, providing
tab session saving before FireFox supported it natively, but Session
Manager gives you much greater control over you session, including
saving backup sessions, exporting sessions, importing sessions, etc.
As someone who seriously abuses tabs, this has come in very handy.
Flashblock - AdBlock Plus generally does a good job, but the only ads
that I *truly* despise are flash ones. Non-flash ads are easily
ignored. I sometimes use AdBlock Plus, too, but some time back when I
was upgrading FireFox, AdBlock was causing the browser to freak out.
I ended up disabling it in favor of Flashblock and that incident has
left me wary.
Greasemonkey - Taking control over the sites you view and how you view them. ;-)
Tab Scope - Little popup box that appears when you hover over a tab
showing you a preview of the page on that tab. Very handy with lots
of tabs.
IE Tab - We have an internal website at work that is only viewable in
IE. It sucks, it's annoying, but it's required for my job. IE Tab
makes it much more tolerable.
Live HTTP Headers - Handy tool for web-related troubleshooting.
Firebug - Awesome tool for web development.
YSlow - Awesome tool (built on Firebug) for performance aspects of web
development.
Forecastfox - I go back and forth on this one. I like having weather
info at a glance, especially if I've got plans for doing stuff
outdoors.
