Using LiveCDs to access hardware RAID drives can be a pain.  But
SysRescCD.org live cd has recently added more RAID functionality that i need
to test out myself.

It has many different menu items that come right up, one of which is to boot
from the harddisk x, but have not tested with RAID.  This functionality has
been there for years.  However, he also "Added option boothd=xxx (boot an
installed linux from harddisk)"....
