I had to replace my Toshiba PCX1100U cable modem last weekend.  It was  
sort of working but it kept losing connections and when it did connect  
it was very slow.  A google search said that Cox has issues with that  
model after the upgrades they have been doing.  Do you happen to have  
one of these?
