"If" and "should" are two very key words in this statement, and in my
experience relying on them is a good way to "raise your visibility
with management." That can sometimes lead to a CLM (career limiting
moment.)
Nothing ever works quite the way it "should" and "if" you don't have a
backup/rollback plan there's about a 99% probability you "should" have
because you'll invariably need it when the "if" goes bad.
