Are you attempting to move your data to another machine, or are customers 
trying to access their data, and the machine that provides it to them is 
encountering problems?

If the machine is legally yours as well as the data within you can try 
this:

Contact someone in Building maintenance, offer the enviro-tech who works 
the evening shift $35 to walk by your server and 'bump' the reset 
switch or if a keyboard is attached, press Control-Alt-Delete....

Paypal them the money.

Building maintenance is sometimes on contract to the building, not 
employed by the company who may be leasing space.  They usually have 
access to just about everything, or know someone who does.

$35 is $35.
