[olug] Old Machine Reboot

Hey Folks...

I have an old Debian machine that I need to reboot but the problems are:

1) No physical access to the machine. (long story)
2) ssh is not working. (error: Could not create socket pairs: Too many open
files in system)

tried ssh -v tom@{ip} 'reboot'
yes, the user "tom" has permission to reboot

Any ideas?
