For years we've ran two scsi-disk systems in a raid1 format. /dev/md0 = /dev/sda1 /dev/sdb1 = / /dev/md1 = /dev/sda2 /dev/sdb2 = swap space (fstab shows /dev/md1 as the swap space) /dev/md2 = /dev/sda3 /dev/sdb3 = /usr/local Works great. Drives fail, system stays up fine (beyond the initial hiccup of the drive failing). -Will
