I read the gossamer thread.  Not one mention of anyone setting up some kind
of LLC or similar that takes donations so that it can possibly afford a
license for information or similar.  Honestly... unless you pay for software
that has listings available in it, then you're typically time based.  And if
the comunity goes for web scraping, you're just gonna piss of whoever's
providing the content. Given the mythtv user base size, surely there'd be
enough people willing to pony up some dough.
