[olug] Selling PC's with Linux on them

IANAL, but off the top of my head I don't think there are any restrictions
with Ubuntu or it's derivatives in this case.  If he were adding an
additional fee for the OS itself then it would be a different matter --
i.e. if he were out-and-out selling the OS.  If he ends up charging a
minimal fee for his time and the blank media used that should be ok.

About the only ones that would have a catch are RedHat, SUSE, etc
distributions that you can't freely download.

As a rule of thumb, if you can go to the primary distribution site and
download the .ISO image then it's ok to re-distribute it.  And all the
better if a CD is included so the recipient can re-install or pass it
along!
