Sounds like you may have your console not setup correctly, or a bad console
cable - 9600 baud,
8 data no parity and 1 stop bit (8N1), hardware flow control. What are you
using for a terminal emulator?
Can you send a ctrl-x 3 times while it is still booting and get into diag
mode? If you plug something into a port,
does the link light work? Dose the switch pass any traffic?
