[olug] System booting from software raid -- possible?

I'm looking a putting together a small server and in exploring the RAID
offerings, it appears that the kernel-level raid (i.e. DM, not a hardware
card) is probably the most cost efficient way to go.

If I have three HDDs in a system configured in a RAID-5 setup, can I boot
if the partitions (/(root) and /boot) are part of the RAID set?
