I also use DirectNIC (also for my clients), and have for I think 7+ years.
I've been very happy with them. I was a little worried about them being in
New Orleans during the hurricane, but they kept everything up. They did
relocate their backup site further away after seeing how big the hurricane's
path was.

I've been pretty happy with DirectNIC. $15/yr for the major TLDs. If you
have more than 10 domains, you get to use the bulk management options. They
also have really fast turnaround on support tickets, in my experience.
DirectNIC. You know, the guys that hung out in New Orleans during the
hurricane and aftermath?
I've pondered switching to GoDaddy, but the name itself of pretty
offputting.. It just "feels" shady.
