w32codecs aren't available in the official dapper repositories, but
they are available from the PLF (http://doc.ubuntu-fr.org/doc/plf )
Just add the following line to your sources.list:

deb http://packages.freecontrib.org/ubuntu/plf/ dapper free non-free
