Job Description for Software Developer

Utility player needed for fast-paced company.

Main focus will be applications development of transaction-based
software.  Software is used for payment processing in the financial
services industry.

Other responsibilities will include:
Software design
Customer problem support/production issue resolution
Quality Assurance/Testing of new code
Documentation/Development of change control procedures & new releases

Characteristics of Ideal Candidate include:

Team Player
Fast Learner
Able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
Able to meet tight deadlines
Problem-solver
Background in financial services and/or brokerage a plus
4-7 years of application development experience

Technical Background Required:

Java (J2EE / CMP)
Html/DHTML/CSS
.Net (VB)
Unix/Linux
Data transmission protocols including SSH, PGP, FTP
Oracle
