Yes, I do mean https with a certificate ;)

The best I can do is the CentOS (ie the closest thing possible to RedHat
Enterprise Linux without actually *behing* RHEL) documentation on the
subject (line may be wrapped):

Some of the command lines are RHEL-specific but the idea is very much
the same.
