Thought the perl mongers lurking on the list would love this.  I am
rolling a new helpdesk software called Footprints from Unipress.  It is
completely written in Perl, running in an Apache webserver on Linux with
a MySQL DB in the backend.  Stuff is REALLY slick.  Amazing how easy
changes are and how simple.  I will post to the list when I have it
accessible from outside our Firewall so that others can see it.

I am finally winning some battles due to the 1 Linux server I have had
running for over 5 years.  We were discussing what OS to run our
Helpdesk software on as well as what OS to run the new backup servers
on.  Since my Linux server has been up and running with "no work to keep
up" (my boss's words), we should find a way to roll SLES 9 for these new
machines.  8)  I am rolling 4 new servers right now with about 20+ to
come soon if this is ALSO a success.  8)  
Thanx to all on the list for your assist's over the years as I learned
and grew towards this point.
