[olug] Suse 9.3 Pro download

Here is the short version:
  We have Netware servers currently as well as Mac G5 servers.  To
connect to them, you goto the task bar, choose go, choose connect to
server, and type in the name of said server OR the IP address.  With the
OES Linux server, that did not work.  Most frustrating was that all
communications with Novell said, "works great, well documented" but
noone can seem to point me to any.  I am willing to try things and read
documentation but I cannot find this "well documented" information.

Well, I guess I need clarification of what type of connectivity you are
trying to achieve.  OSX recognizes Windows File Sharing protocols and
the Windows machines can't tell the difference.  As far as Linux to OSX,
I've always used the remote login under the preferences.  It allows
ssh/scp logins.  It also allows FTP protocols and OSX has Apache 1.3
built in as it's web server.  As far as GUI network browsing, I never do
it with Linux but there used to be a Lineighborhood that was like
Network Neighborhood in Windows.  I guess I need to understand better
what you are trying to achieve.
