My one line summary of the article:  Microsoft is working to deny updates to

Good. If you didn't pay for Windows, you shouldn't get support.  More 
bandwidth for the rest of us who still have that one #$/@*! windows machine 
in our lives.

Besides, I heard of this free operating system that this guy named Torvalds is 
working on....
