[olug] psmouse.c error

Do you have anything on this kvm switch running a GUI?
   I don't know about running a remote X session over
a serial terminal, but it may be possible.

You could replace the kvm with a serial terminal box:
a multi-port serial board (digiboard), some null
serial cables, and fancy inittab editing.  Then
CTRL-Fx could be remote consoles via serial terminal,
rather than the local console.  Depending on the
kernel and serial board driver (if one is even
required), it may even fit on a boot floppy.
