[olug] SATA? Do I want this?

I will second this.  I love the speed of my sata drive (throughput, not
spin).  The cabling is easier, no jumpers, smaller cables for better
cooling throughput, and Seagate's have 5 year warranties.  8)

SATA is cheap.

If your motherboard doesn't support SATA, go buy $35 SATA card.

Then go buy $60 SATA drive.

Give it a test drive and compare it to SCSI.
